THE TOLERANCE POSTER SHOW IN LIMA, PERU.

I ma happy to share with you that on January 28th, 2023, the Tolerance Poster Show took place in the main courtyard of the Santo Domingo Museum in Lima, Peru, as part of the Peru Design Biennial. 

The Santo Domingo Museum, founded in 1535, is famous for housing Universidad Mayor de San Marcos, officially the first “Peruvian university” and the oldest in “America”, which began functioning in the 16th century. The Universidad Mayor de San Marcos, the oldest university in America, is the most important and representative centre of higher education in Peru. Many intellectuals have passed through its classrooms, among them the Peruvian Mario Vargas Llosa, the Nobel Prize for Literature winner. Also, the national anthem of Peru was composed in the museum in 1821.

2023年1月28日、ペルーデザインビエンナーレの一環として、ペルーのリマにあるサントドミンゴ博物館のメイン中庭でトレランスポスターショーが開催されました。

1535年に設立されたサントドミンゴ博物館は、正式に最初の「ペルー大学」であり、16世紀に機能し始めた「アメリカ」で最も古い大学であるサンマルコス市長大学を収容することで有名です。アメリカで最も古い大学であるサンマルコス市長大学は、ペルーで最も重要で代表的な高等教育の中心地です。ノーベル文学賞受賞者であるペルーのマリオ・バルガス・リョサなど、多くの知識人が教室を通過しました。また、ペルーの国歌は1821年に博物館で作曲されました。
